Rule 1
Hi! I’m very happy that you want to receive my newsletters. I don’t know what your Polish level is and if you understand everything I’m saying to you. If not, don’t worry. If you don’t understand everything, try using Google Translator. I think that will be enough. I think these newsletters are a great opportunity for you to listen to a short text in Polish. I want to teach you a few rules that will help you in learning Polish. Imagine you’re speaking Polish automatically, without thinking. The words just come to your mouth, you speak quickly and you quickly understand everything instantly, without hesitation. To make this happen, use my learning method. First of all, don’t try to memorize single words. If you want to speak fluently, you need to learn whole sentences and expressions. Many words connect with each other naturally. There are words that always go together. In fact, by learning whole sentences, you learn grammar and vocabulary easily and quickly. Sentences, words that connect with each other… Dr. James Asher’s research proves that by learning sentences, you learn a new language four, five times faster. Those who learn whole sentences know grammar much better than others. Okay, now rule number 1: learn and repeat whole sentences, not single words. So, rule number one is: never learn single words. Write down whole sentences, collect them. If you find a new word, write down the whole sentence in which it is used. That’s all for today. Tomorrow I invite you to rule number 2. I’m very happy that I will be able to help you in learning Polish. If you want to stay in touch with me, visit my Facebook page. Give me a like if you haven’t already. I also invite you to Twitter and my YouTube channel. Talk to you soon! Take care! Best regards! Bye bye!

I tried to explain how hydro-mechanical device works to newcomer by using analogy to electrical circuits … person interrupted me and ask “please, go on with hydraulic phenomena as I do not know nor electricity nor hydraulics”. I am about English subtitles to the videos :)
Piotr, Thanks so much for an AMAZING website. I’ve been living in Sosnówka for a few months, teaching English, and unfortunately haven’t learned as much Polish as I would like. I am moving back to the U.S. and want to continue learning. I’m probably right below intermediate proficiency. I listen to your podcasts on iTunes (again, awesome!) and understand words but usually don’t follow the ideas and conversation easily. Anyway, I was hoping you could make a recommendation on which course you think would be best for my level? Also, another quick question, can you explain what the student gets in the webinar? Can we speak with you? Or, is it watching/listening to you? Thanks so much, again, you’re doing an awesome job!!!
Thank you! In the webinars we can’t talk :( but there is a chat available, so I can answer the questions. Usually I talk about something in Polish :) It takes about 1 hour, it’s like live podkast but with interaction via chat and of course you can see me, but I can’t see you :(
There are replay of each webinar in VIP Club.
I recommend you to start from 100 Daily Polish Stories. I guess you know a lot of words but you are not able to speak fluently. This program is great to start for you because there are questions and answers. Here you will find more info:
